[ Sleeping on the job, apparently!! Jade's opinion of their hosts has gone from "wait and see" to "are you actively trying to keep me from progressing in this game damn you" ]
i thought i punched daves bro into the incipisphere? how did he get back in time for roxy to get his sword?
I suspect our situations are more out of sync than just chronologically. If it was just a matter of coming from different points in the timeline, then one of us would have recognized the other's description of events as being something that occurred in the past. Unfortunately, that means one of us must be from an alternate timeline.
[A brief pause. She doesn't have to say that alternate timelines are doomed by nature. She's sure Jade knows, and it seems like twisting the knife to reiterate it. But the sad truth of the matter that probably does need saying...]
I think yours must be the alternate timeline. My abilities as Seer of Light let me see the path to the most fortuitous possible outcome, which by default would be the alpha timeline, and I was very careful about ensuring we remained on that path.
[ It really doesn't need to be said, no. Jade knows what she's going to say as soon as she reads the words "alternate timeline." It's easy to picture it, and then it's actually on her phone screen and her lips purse a bit.
As far as Jade knows, she's not dead.
Probably...?
She's alive right now, but if she was dead, she can't imagine it wouldn't have been deigned just. If that's the case, then... their session would be out their space player. Without a space player, then... ]
like i said you are one of the most reliable people i know! i guess it would just have to happen to one of us eventually :\ i would prefer it be me over you anyway
You're being terribly fatalist right now. Whatever version of myself existed in your timeline would have suffered the same end as you eventually. Just like the version of you in the timeline I came from was alive and well. Perhaps a bit battered after being apparently punched out by the white Jack Noir, but everything seemed to have worked out alright.
yes but... :( it is a little bit um difficult to deal with and i would rather that i deal with it and no one else the knowledge that you are from a doomed timeline that is and besides we do not know that for sure i think if there is anyone who could survive in that situation it would probably be the seer of light
hey wait why do i get knocked out in both timelines! seems kind of rude if you ask me!
[Oh, Rose is unfortunately aware of Jasprosesprite. She would just rather not think about or acknowledge Jasprosesprite.]
You have all too high an opinion of my abilities if you think I could escape the very rules which serve to keep our reality in check temporaly. At best, consider the fate of the version of myself from Davesprite's original timeline. I was able to absorb some of her memories, but she still ceased to exist. As for your trend if being knocked out, I suppose all I can say is: It keeps happening.
[ If only Jasprosesprite would wake up so Jade could be aware of her, too. Then this would really be a pity party. ]
actually i dont think that would be too far off from the abilities of a light player perhaps not in the traditional sense but i do not think light players are ones that can be written off so easily! if you put it like that i think we have more in common that we realize since we both have memories of doomed timelines :\ heheheh awww i miss dave :(

[Dammit. Where's a time player when you need one?]
Roxy stabbed her through the heart with Dave's brother's sword.
It seemed to have some quality that allowed it to overcome her immortality.
