If it was just a matter of coming from different points in the timeline, then one of us would have recognized the other's description of events as being something that occurred in the past. Unfortunately, that means one of us must be from an alternate timeline.

I think yours must be the alternate timeline. My abilities as Seer of Light let me see the path to the most fortuitous possible outcome, which by default would be the alpha timeline, and I was very careful about ensuring we remained on that path.
